Sony has announced the launch of a new PlayStation beta program, aimed at providing a streamlined and more convenient way for gamers to participate in future PlayStation betas. According to a blog post by Sony’s Sid Shuman, the program, officially known as the “Beta Program at PlayStation,” will allow users to express their interest in testing upcoming games for the PS5 console and PC, as well as new features on the PS5 console, PlayStation App, and PlayStation.com.
Unlike previous PS5 betas that required individual signups and access codes, users will only need to sign up once to indicate their interest in participating in beta tests. While the sign-up page may currently be inaccessible for some users, the post advises checking back later if the page is not yet available in your region.
It’s important to note that signing up for the program does not guarantee selection for a beta test, as mentioned by Shuman. Users should keep an eye out for updates on the availability of the program and future beta opportunities.
