Patch 2.1 for Snowbreak: Containment Zone has been released, but Android users are currently unable to update and play the game.

Reports from the game’s Discord indicate that the update was rejected by the Google Play Store due to “inappropriate image resources.”

This issue has left Android players unable to access the game until the update is approved.

The developer is actively working to resolve the problem and has promised compensation for affected players once the issue is resolved, although the specific solution is still uncertain.

If Google’s moderation guidelines require censorship of certain images, the material may be altered for the Android update.

For now, Amazing Seasun Games recommends Android players to switch to other platforms where the game is available, such as iOS or PC.

Snowbreak: Containment Zone has faced criticism for changes in its tone and presentation, leading to controversy over pandering to the “male gaze.” English voice actors have also refused to return to the game due to these changes.

Despite the backlash, the developers remain committed to their vision, with the resolution of this latest issue yet to be determined.

Snowbreak: Containment Zone is accessible on iOS, Android, and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store.
