SEGA has announced that it will be removing its SEGA Classics games and bundles from all major digital platforms, including Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and the Nintendo Switch store. However, some SEGA classic games will still be accessible to those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription or those who have purchased the games or bundles before the delisting date of December 6th.

While SEGA has not provided a specific reason for the delisting, they have announced the development of new games in popular franchises such as Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage. Additionally, a new Virtua Fighter game is currently in the works.
