Screamer has a new gameplay mechanics video to check out

Milestone Unveils Exciting Gameplay Mechanics for Screamer

Milestone has recently unveiled a thrilling gameplay mechanic video for their highly anticipated anime-styled arcade racer, Screamer. The video delves into the Sync and Entropy components of the innovative Echo system, offering players a glimpse into the dynamic gameplay that awaits them.

Sync and Entropy play crucial roles in Screamer, providing racers with both offensive and defensive advantages as they navigate intense battles on the tracks. Sync is acquired passively but can be further enhanced by executing an active shift. This resource is utilized to generate shields for defensive purposes or to boost speed for a competitive edge. As racers accumulate Sync, it triggers the generation of Entropy, which is essential for launching offensive maneuvers.

Entropy empowers players with formidable attacks such as Strike and Overdrive. Strike is a potent offensive move that can obliterate rival racers, while Overdrive offers a substantial speed boost, temporary shielding, and the ability to eliminate opponents. However, caution is advised when utilizing Overdrive, as a collision with a wall while in this state can result in a catastrophic explosion. Timing and strategy are key factors in maximizing the effectiveness of these abilities. Additionally, each character in the game will possess unique skills and abilities to further diversify gameplay.

Screamer is slated for release in 2026 and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms, promising an electrifying racing experience for fans of the genre.
