SAP to Acquire SmartRecruiters, Enhancing HR Tools
SAP has recently announced its agreement to acquire SmartRecruiters, a leading recruiting software company. This strategic move aims to enhance SAP’s existing HR tools by integrating SmartRecruiters’ powerful and user-friendly interfaces.
According to Muhammad Alam, a member of SAP’s executive board, this acquisition will enable customers to efficiently manage the entire candidate lifecycle within a single system. From sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and beyond, recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates will benefit from a streamlined experience.
While the terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, the deal is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of this year. SmartRecruiters’ most recent funding round in 2021 valued the company at $1.5 billion, highlighting its strong market presence.
