If you own a Samsung TV, you may not be aware of Samsung TV Plus – a free streaming service that offers a constantly changing selection of shows and movies to watch without the need for a subscription.
This month, the US platform has an impressive lineup of movies, ranging from high-stakes action blockbusters to heartwarming romcoms and comedies.
If you’re a fan of Ryan Coogler’s work, don’t miss his debut film, “Fruitvale Station,” a biographical drama based on the events leading up to the tragic shooting of Oscar Grant. The film won the Best First Film award at Cannes and has a 94% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Another highlight is the action-packed “Machete” from 2010, starring Danny Trejo. Originally based on a fake trailer, this film is a bloody and entertaining ride.
For a more intellectually stimulating experience, check out “Vice,” featuring Christian Bale’s transformative performance as former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Other movies available this month on Samsung TV Plus include “Point Break,” “Jerry Maguire,” “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes,” “Enemy Of The State,” “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “The Prestige,” “Pretty Woman,” “Don Jon,” and “2 Days in Paris.”
Remember, the movie selection on Samsung TV Plus changes regularly, so if any of these films catch your eye, plan a movie night before the end of the month. These additions come after a recent upgrade to the voice assistant, Bixby.
Please note that the availability of these films on the UK library is unconfirmed at this time. Tech Advisor has reached out to Samsung for clarification.
You can access Samsung TV Plus through the app on your home menu. Simply open the app and browse through the library to find your desired content. Keep in mind that this service is ad-supported, similar to the new channels on Roku devices in the UK.
