**Getting Ready for Launch**

Availability will expand to other regions where the ROG Ally series is currently sold. Stay tuned for pricing and preorder details in the upcoming weeks.

ROG and Xbox collaborated to develop the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, providing gamers with the flexibility to play whenever and wherever they want. The ROG Xbox Ally is powered by an AMD Ryzen™ Z2 A processor with four Zen 2 cores, eight threads, and eight RDNA 2 GPU cores. It offers efficient performance, 16GB of LPDDR5X‑6400 RAM, a 512GB M.2 SSD, all supported by a 60Wh battery for extended gaming sessions.

The premium ROG Xbox Ally X features an AMD Ryzen™ AI Z2 Extreme processor, an 8‑core/16‑thread Zen 5 APU with 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores, and an integrated 50 TOPS NPU. This model also includes 24GB of LPDDR5X‑8000 memory, a 1TB M.2 SSD, and an 80Wh battery for longer playtime.

**Optimized for Handheld Gaming**
The Xbox team has been working closely with game studios to test and optimize thousands of PC titles for handheld compatibility. The Handheld Compatibility Program ensures that users have an exceptional gaming experience on their ROG Xbox Ally devices from day one. Games in the library will be labeled as Handheld Optimized or Mostly Compatible at launch.

Handheld Optimized games are ready to play with default controller inputs, intuitive text input methods, clear text legibility, and appropriate resolution in full-screen mode. Mostly Compatible games may require minor in-game setting adjustments for optimal handheld gameplay.

The Xbox team is introducing advanced shader delivery to the ROG Xbox Ally, enabling the Xbox app to preload a game’s shaders during download. This feature allows supported games to launch up to 10x faster, run smoother, and use less battery power on first play. Xbox plans to expand this feature to more games in the future.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with AMD’s cutting-edge Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, unlocking AI-powered features starting early next year. These features include Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR) for upscaling games running at lower resolutions and creating highlight reels of gameplay moments to share with friends and on social media.
