Ride 6 announced and it is eyeing a February 12th release date

Ride 6 has officially been revealed by Milestone, with a target release date of February 12th. One of the exciting new features in Ride 6 is the introduction of Ride Fest career mode, inspired by popular racing games like Forza Horizon. Players will have the opportunity to choose from a roster of 10 real-world racers, including legends like Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, and Guy Martin, to compete in the festival.

With a vast selection of 340 motorcycles from 21 different manufacturers and across seven categories, Ride 6 promises a diverse and thrilling riding experience. The game has been developed using Unreal Engine 5, enabling the implementation of a new dual physics system. Players can opt for the Pro physics mode for a realistic simulation experience or the Arcade mode for a more casual gameplay. Additionally, the Riding School feature allows players to hone their skills through challenges, while cross-platform multiplayer support adds a competitive edge to the game.

Although split-screen multiplayer and a race creator will not be available at launch, they are planned for future updates.

While Ride 5 was the previous installment in the series, released in 2023, Ride 4 received positive reviews for its transition to the new generation of consoles. Stefan praised Ride 4 for its enhanced visuals on the PS5 and innovative use of the DualSense controller’s features.

Ride 6 will be accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.
