The third season of Reacher will premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, 20 February 2025 with a three-episode launch. The subsequent five episodes will be released weekly.
Renewed for season 3 in December 2023, Reacher is undeniably one of Amazon’s flagship series. Alan Ritchson shared a teaser image from the set, hinting at the intense journey Jack will embark on this season.
What will Reacher season 3 be about?
Based on Lee Child’s 7th book, Persuader, the third season of Reacher will follow Jack as he stumbles upon an attempted kidnapping and gets entangled in a complex criminal web.
Reacher encounters a man from his past, Francis Xavier Quinn, who was once declared a traitor. Despite surviving previous attempts on his life, Quinn is now involved in shady dealings, prompting Reacher to settle old scores.
The logline for the upcoming season reads:
In the third season of the action-packed series, Reacher (Alan Ritchson) hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. There he finds a world of secrecy and violence – and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.
Alan Ritchson mentioned in an interview that Reacher will be in a new setting, away from his past and family, purely focused on the adventure.
And we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It may not have anything to do with family, with his past, he’s just living that adventure out and that’s kind of the direction that we’ve gone and it seems to really be working.
