PRAGMATA

Capcom recently unveiled exciting new details and gameplay footage for their upcoming sci-fi action game PRAGMATA, providing a glimpse into the intriguing story and intense combat mechanics.

Here’s a summary of the latest information, screenshots, and gameplay highlights:

The Capcom Spotlight presentation offered a deeper dive into PRAGMATA, shedding light on the game’s futuristic narrative and showcasing extended gameplay showcasing its unique action-packed sequences.

Set in the near future, PRAGMATA explores a world where Lunafilament, a groundbreaking material capable of replication, has revolutionized humanity’s capabilities. However, when communication with a lunar research station studying this technology is suddenly lost, protagonist Hugh Williams is sent on a mission to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance.

The gameplay footage delves into the gripping adventure as Hugh teams up with a mysterious android named Diana, created using Lunafilament. Together, they must navigate through challenges, combat rampaging bots, and ultimately find a way back to Earth.

Combat in PRAGMATA revolves around a blend of hacking and shooting mechanics. Players control Diana’s hacking abilities to weaken enemies’ defenses, creating opportunities for Hugh to strategically target weak points with his arsenal of weapons. This dynamic gameplay system adds a layer of strategy and quick thinking to intense battles.

Exploration is a collaborative effort between Hugh and Diana, with each character leveraging their unique skills to overcome obstacles and progress through the lunar station. Diana’s hacking prowess complements Hugh’s mobility, allowing them to achieve feats that would be impossible individually.

The official PRAGMATA website is now live, offering additional insights into the game and featuring a “Hacking Minigame” to experience the combat system firsthand before its anticipated release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2026. Gamers can also look forward to playable demos at events like gamescom 2025.

PRAGMATA is scheduled to launch in 2026 for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
