Planet Coaster 2 Announced for 2024 Release
Frontier Developments recently unveiled Planet Coaster 2, the highly anticipated sequel to their popular theme park management game. Scheduled for release in autumn 2024, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
One of the exciting new features in Planet Coaster 2 is the introduction of water-based attractions. Players can now incorporate lazy rivers, wave pools, flumes, and water coasters into their parks, offering a whole new level of creativity and excitement.
In addition to the new water rides, Planet Coaster 2 will offer a variety of new rides, themes, and customizable scenery pieces. Players can expect improved creation tools, enhanced customization options, and a new event sequencer for creating dynamic park experiences.
The game will also introduce four new themes, including the Mythological Theme, California-inspired Resort Theme, Aquatic Theme, and Viking Theme. Players can mix and match elements from different themes to create unique park designs.
Alongside the new content, Planet Coaster 2 will feature updated management tools to help players keep track of their park’s health and guest satisfaction. From lifeguards to heat maps, players will have more control over their park than ever before.
With modes like career, sandbox, and the competitive Franchise mode, players will have plenty of options for gameplay. The ability to share save files with other players adds a collaborative element to the game, allowing for shared experiences and creative inspiration.
