Exciting Updates Coming to Phasmophobia in 2025
Get ready for a thrilling year ahead with Phasmophobia’s 2025 roadmap, packed with updates and new content. The journey begins with the Chronicle update and continues with the introduction of new maps, character reworks, event enhancements, and much more.
As part of the roadmap announcement, Kinetic Games celebrated reaching over 2 million sales on consoles and a whopping 22 million sales across all platforms. What an incredible achievement!
The first major update scheduled for this year is the Chronicle update. This update will revamp how evidence is gathered in the game, introducing a new Media tab to store photos, videos, and audio recordings captured with the new Sound Recorder tool.
In the second update of 2025, players can look forward to a complete character overhaul, including refreshed character models and improved animations. While full player customization is set for 2026, the focus for this year will be on the anticipated Horror 2.0 update.
But the excitement doesn’t end there for 2025. A fresh new map will be introduced, along with updated versions of popular maps like Bleasdale Farmhouse, Grafton Farmhouse, and 6 Tanglewood Drive. Each map will undergo artistic enhancements, receive new assets, animations, and layout changes to enhance the gameplay experience.
Seasonal Events are also getting a makeover in 2025, with adjustments based on player feedback from the previous year. Expect events for Easter, Halloween, and Winter with new rewards, expanded map rotations, and more engaging gameplay elements.
