Opera on iOS rolling out free VPN for all users

Opera is now offering its free VPN service to all iOS users after an early access program. The feature is integrated into the browser for iPhone and iPad, making Opera the first to provide a free VPN across all platforms.

According to a press release from Opera:

Opera is the first browser company to offer a built-in, free VPN on every platform. Users can easily enable the VPN in the main menu without the need for a subscription, account login, or additional extensions. The Opera Browser ensures encrypted VPN traffic and a private IP address for secure browsing.

To access the VPN on iOS, users can navigate to the hamburger icon in the bottom right corner of Opera, then go to Settings and look for VPN at the top.

Opera emphasizes that its VPN is a no-log service to protect user privacy and security, and the feature may take a few weeks to roll out globally.

In addition to the free VPN, Opera for iOS now includes a Bookmarks feature for organizing online activities and a Live Scores feature for football fans to stay updated on matches worldwide.
