One Reason to Upgrade Your iPhone Nobody Talks About

After using the iPhone 13 Pro for over 4 years, I recently made the leap to the iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro served me well, surviving numerous drops without needing any repairs. I particularly enjoyed the Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion, as I appreciate a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The battery life was also impressive, still holding at 82% maximum capacity when I traded it in to Verizon. While I could have extended its life with a battery replacement, I was eager to experience the latest features of the iPhone 17 Pro.

My decision to upgrade was driven by a desire for the new iPhone’s superior screen quality, enhanced optical zoom, improved AI capabilities, and a sleek design that fit comfortably in my pocket. Additionally, the need for reliable cellular connectivity in my cell signal dead zone pushed me to make the switch.

Living in an area with poor cell coverage, I had resorted to using landlines at home to ensure uninterrupted phone calls. However, the iPhone 17 Pro’s advanced antenna system and Qualcomm Snapdragon X80 modem immediately improved my cellular connectivity, eliminating the need for landlines.

Apple’s focus on enhancing antenna performance and modem technology in the iPhone 17 Pro has resulted in a significant improvement in call quality and connectivity. This upgrade has not only resolved my connectivity issues but also saved me money by eliminating the need for monthly landline expenses.

Before considering an upgrade to a new iPhone, it’s essential to assess any existing frustrations with your current device. If connectivity and performance issues are hindering your experience, upgrading to a newer model could offer a long-term solution and improve overall efficiency.
