One More Level Reveals Gameplay Trailer for Valor Mortis
One More Level, the studio known for the Ghostrunner games, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming title, Valor Mortis. This first-person soulslike game was announced by the team in August and promises an intense gaming experience.
The trailer, clocking in at around a minute, showcases the protagonist William, a resurrected soldier from Napoleon’s army, engaging in combat using melee weapons, fire, and firearms to battle various nightmarish creatures.
Valor Mortis transports players to a world where historical figures from Napoleon’s era have been transformed into monstrous beings due to a devastating plague that has ravaged Europe. Players will have the ability to harness unique powers as they navigate through this dark and dangerous landscape.
As a soulslike game, players can expect challenging gameplay where death is a common occurrence. However, with each death, players have the opportunity to grow stronger by acquiring new skills and mastering combat strategies to overcome formidable enemies. The recent playtest for Valor Mortis resulted in a staggering 515,000 player deaths and 3 million enemy kills.
Valor Mortis is scheduled for release in 2026 and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
