Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti vs RTX 4060 Ti: early benchmarks show modest gains

Nvidia Set to Unveil RTX 5060 Ti Next Week

Nvidia is expected to announce the RTX 5060 Ti on April 15, with both 8GB and 16GB versions set to launch on April 16.

Geekbench entries have revealed some key details about the upcoming graphics card, including its 36 compute units, 2,647 MHz boost clock, and 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Benchmarks show that the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti by 13% in OpenCL tests and 14% in Vulkan tests.

The RTX 5060 Ti is part of Nvidia’s Blackwell series, which has not seen the significant performance gains expected by many enthusiasts.

Reports suggest that the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti will be priced at $379, while the 16GB version will cost $429.

AMD is also preparing to launch the Radeon RX 9060 XT with 8GB and 16GB options, expected to compete with Nvidia’s offering.

Stock shortages and inflated prices are anticipated for both the RTX 5060 Ti and RX 9060 XT due to high demand and supply chain issues.
