NORSE: Oath of Blood Release Date Delayed
Publisher Tripwire Presents and developer Arctic Hazard have announced a slight delay for NORSE: Oath of Blood, their viking turn-based tactics game.
NORSE: Oath of Blood will now be released on February 17th, instead of the previously scheduled February 3rd release date.
While the PC version is still on track for the new release date on platforms such as Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, the console ports for Xbox and PS5 have been delayed to spring.
Here’s the full message from the team regarding the delay:
Brave warriors,
Today, we want to share an important update regarding NORSE: Oath of Blood.
The PC release has been rescheduled to February 17, 2026, with the console version now planned for Spring 2026.
This decision was not made lightly. Keeping NORSE in the forge a little longer allows us to further refine and polish the experience, ensuring it fully reflects our studio’s passion for the source material and meets the high standards we’ve set for ourselves.
While the team continues hard at work, we’ll have much more to share in the weeks ahead. Expect behind-the-scenes looks at development, deeper dives into gameplay, and additional updates as we move closer to release.
We truly appreciate your patience and support, especially knowing this news may be disappointing. The excitement and enthusiasm from our community continue to inspire us, and we can’t wait to bring NORSE: Oath of Blood to the world very soon.
With deep gratitude,
The Arctic Hazard and Tripwire Team
