Nintendo is breaking from tradition by hosting two presentations in one livestream tomorrow, instead of the usual September Direct.
Nintendo Directs typically happen in June and September, but this year, Nintendo has announced two Directs on August 27. The first one, starting at 7am PT/ 10am ET/ 3pm BST, is an Indie World presentation focused on indie games. The second is a Partner Showcase featuring announcements from third-party developers. Both presentations will run for about 40 minutes in total.
Nintendo has confirmed that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor in either of these presentations. Viewers can watch the livestream on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel or Twitch account.
The presentations could feature a variety of announcements, including potentially highly anticipated games like Silksong. Stay tuned to see what surprises Nintendo has in store.
