Capcom Announces New Resident Evil Game in Development
Capcom has revealed that a new installment in the Resident Evil series is currently in the works. The game will be directed by Koshi Nakanishi, known for his work on “Resident Evil 7 biohazard.”
The announcement was made during Capcom NEXT, where Nakanishi shared minimal details about the upcoming project:
“We’re making a new Resident Evil,” Nakanishi stated. “It was really difficult to figure out what to do after ‘Resident Evil 7,’ but I found it, and to be honest, it feels substantial. I can’t share any details just yet, but I hope you’re excited for the day I can.”
Nakanishi has previously contributed to titles like “Resident Evil 5” as a main designer, “Resident Evil: Revelations” as director, and “Resident Evil 7 biohazard” as director.
