If the rumors are true, the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro models could showcase the most significant design changes since Apple introduced flat sides with the iPhone 12 lineup in 2020. Speculations suggest a full-width camera bump and other anticipated alterations.

While some have questioned the rumored camera bar design resembling the Google Pixel, recent leaks indicate that Apple plans to blend colors rather than opt for a stark black bar.

Leaked renders by Majin Bu reveal the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max with an expanded camera array and a novel placement of the Apple logo within the MagSafe array.

The redesigned camera bump seems to offer a symmetrical design, potentially relocating the flash and LiDAR sensor to create visual balance. The repositioned Apple logo could now be centered on a distinct glass panel framed by aluminum.

Reports suggest a switch from titanium to aluminum framing for the glass back, with potential changes in the overall design. Accessories like clear cases may need redesigning to accommodate the logo bisecting the MagSafe charging ring.

On the front side, rumors hint at a redesigned Dynamic Island with a new user interface called “Smart Island UI.” The iPhone 17 models may feature slimmer bezels akin to the iPhone 16 Pro, with potential growth in display size.
