‘Moss’-inspired VR Adventure ‘My Monsters’ Brings Unique Art Style to Quest Next Month

My Monsters is an exciting VR platformer adventure game inspired by Moss, where players get to guide their own little monster through a world filled with inner demons. Developer Ludact has recently announced the game’s launch date for Quest and SteamVR headsets, set for October 2nd.

Featuring a captivating hand-painted art style, My Monsters presents a unique world and a story-driven interactive fairy tale experience that is sure to impress players.

Described by Ludact as:

Enter the dreamlike world of Onirium and team up with Moti, your inner little monster, to battle enemies, solve puzzles, and confront inner monsters like anxiety, loneliness, and fear, uncovering fragments of a meaningful dreamlike tale.

The game also focuses on conquering inner demons, with Ludact explaining, “At the heart of the game is a deep narrative that explores humanity’s greatest inner struggles—anxiety, fear, and loneliness,” each represented as unique monsters to overcome as players progress.

My Monsters promises dynamic VR combat, allowing players to unlock combos, dodges, and ranged attacks to defeat enemies across 70 maps spanning three biomes.

Players can wishlist My Monsters on Steam and pre-order on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, currently available at a discounted price of $17, down from the $20 launch price.

In the meantime, players can try out the demo on Quest, which addresses some issues that will be resolved in the final version of the game.
