Monaco 2 Set to Release on April 10th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Pocketwatch Games and publisher Humble Games have officially announced that Monaco 2, the highly anticipated cooperative heisting sequel, is scheduled for release on April 10th. Gamers will be able to enjoy the game on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

Monaco 2 offers players the opportunity to form heisting teams of up to four players, with the option to tackle missions solo as well. With eight playable characters to choose from, players can switch characters mid-run to overcome obstacles, and utilize the Blueprint Mode to preview a mission’s layout before diving into the action.

Unlike its predecessor, Monaco 2 is moving towards a more freeform heist simulator approach, featuring procedurally generated levels crafted by an AI mastermind. The game offers a structured campaign alongside challenging co-op gameplay, providing players with a fresh and engaging experience.

Visually, Monaco 2 boasts a more detailed isometric view into 3D worlds, accompanied by a captivating painterly art style that enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the game.

For those eager to get a taste of what Monaco 2 has to offer, a demo was released during the Steam Next Fest in February. The demo includes approximately 2 hours of missions, showcasing unique challenges and allowing players to control five of the game’s playable thieves. Additionally, the demo introduces an intriguing mode called “Unreliable Narrator,” adding a twist to the gameplay experience.
