Build A Rocket Boy and IOI Partners have unveiled a new trailer for MindsEye, their upcoming open world shooter and user-generated content platform set to launch on June 10th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The game is set in Redrock City, a futuristic metropolis where humans and machines are in a power struggle. The story follows Mayor Shiva Vega and tech genius Marco Silva, the founder of Silva Industries, as they clash over the city’s future. Caught in the middle is protagonist Jacob Diaz, on a mission to uncover his own past.

The trailer showcases cinematic moments, space missions, and intense third-person shooter combat. Players will have access to a variety of weapons and an AI drone companion for recon and support. Additionally, the game features “portals” for accessing official story content and user-generated missions through the Build.Mindseye tools.

At launch, MindsEye will offer single-player free roam, races, and drone races, with plans for multiplayer, community updates, and collaborations in the future. Premium edition buyers can expect additional content.

Despite its ambition, MindsEye has maintained a low-key marketing approach. The game aims to attract a Grand Theft Auto Online audience, given the team’s ties to Rockstar. Preview coverage has been limited, with impressions being mixed. The lead up to the June 10th release is generating anticipation for what the game has to offer.

We’re eager to see how MindsEye performs upon release and experience it firsthand.
