Exciting news for Metroid fans as Nintendo has finally unveiled Metroid Prime 4 with a new subtitle.


After years of anticipation, the latest update on Metroid Prime 4 was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. Titled Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the game will see the return of Samus Aran in 2025. Despite rumors of the Nintendo Switch 2, the game will be released on the current Nintendo Switch, saving fans from having to purchase a new console.

The trailer showcased gameplay that stays true to the Prime series, featuring first-person action and intense battles. Fans can expect plenty of blasting and the return of Samus’s iconic morph ball ability. While the trailer hinted at a space war narrative and a new alien planet reminiscent of James Cameron’s Avatar, it primarily served as a teaser for what’s to come. Metroid Prime 4 is set to launch next year, much to the delight of fans.
