If you can’t get enough of Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 and find yourself still hooked despite the allure of Marvel Rivals, then you’re in luck! Blizzard has announced the return of the ‘Moth Meta’ to the game as part of the Overwatch Classic event. For Mercy mains, this means a chance to shine with her resurrection ability, allowing for instant team revivals and multiple resurrection opportunities. While this may have been a nightmare for enemy teams, it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane for players until February 17th.
What else can players expect? Overwatch Classic is experimenting with 6v6 gameplay featuring Min 1, Max 3 team compositions, offering a fresh take on team dynamics without overwhelming numbers of the same hero. The introduction of Doomfist as a new DPS character and Symmetra with her Shield Generator bring exciting changes to gameplay, along with the return of classic maps Oasis, Junkertown, and Eichenwalde.
Additionally, in the midst of Season 14, players can look forward to the Mythic Lead Rose Ashe weapon skin and the upcoming Valentine’s Day event from February 4th to 18th. Love of Geometry will feature teams of four cupid Hanzos battling for love and supremacy, adding a romantic twist to the gameplay.
