As Marvel Rivals Season 1, known as Eternal Night Falls, approaches, the development team at NetEase Games has revealed character adjustments for several roster members, such as Captain America, Storm, The Punisher, and Namor. Some characters will see improvements to their abilities, like The Punisher’s shotgun dealing more damage, while others will receive debuffs, like Hela’s health being reduced from 275 to 250.
The complete list of character adjustments announced for Marvel Rivals season one is detailed below.
Steve will have enhanced survivability, allowing more frequent engagement in combat.
- Reduce shield restoration delay after releasing Living Legend from 3s to 2s.
- Decrease Liberty Rush cooldown from 12s to 10s.
- Increase base health from 650 to 675.
- Lower energy cost for releasing Freedom Charge (ultimate ability) from 3400 to 3100; Reduce additional health provided per second after release from 110 to 100.
- Adjust threat range and defense window of Sorcerer Supreme.
- Add damage falloff to Maelstrom of Madness and Gamma Maelstrom, starting at 5 meters and reducing to 70% at 8 meters.
- Reduce shield value recovery rate after releasing Shield of the Seraphim from 80/s to 70/s.
- Enhance survivability and success rate of God of Thunder’s ultimate ability.
- Increase base health from 500 to 525.
- Add immunity to control effects during God of Thunder’s ultimate ability.
