Tribute Games has recently announced an exciting new update for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. This update, released on December 18th, focuses on addressing various gameplay bugs to enhance the overall gaming experience. Some of the key issues that have been resolved include the Special Attack Assemble achievement not unlocking in online mode, freeze and crash problems on both PC and consoles, and the addition of subtitles for Spider-Man’s dialogue during a specific battle.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion Update – December 18th Patch Notes
- We have fixed the issue preventing the “Special Attack Assemble” achievement from triggering in online modes.
- Wolverine and She-Hulk have received a pep talk, resolving their grab attack freezing mid-action.
- Annihilus will no longer move out of view if his armor is broken by She-Hulk’s Spinning throw.
- Annihilus will not become intangible if his armor is broken by Wolverine’s grab and slash attack.
- Missing subtitles for Spider-Man’s post-Annihilus battle dialogue have been added.
- A blocker that prevented the last player from selecting an already-chosen Super Hero in Arcade Mode has been fixed.
- Move lists now display correctly in multiplayer when Player One is using a keyboard.
- Hela will no longer go idle if host players leave a multiplayer game during the fight.
- Achievement-related freezes on Windows and Xbox, as well as crash issues on various consoles, have been addressed.
- Changing a Super Hero’s color profile after hitting Continue in Arcade mode is now possible.
- Life bars now show the correct costumes when changing characters.
- Feedback is displayed accurately when Super Heroes run out of ammo.
- Over-time damage numbers from Phyla-Vell’s cosmic damage now display correctly in multiplayer.
- Character select inconsistencies causing Super Hero icons to be incorrectly greyed out have been fixed.
