Exciting news for fans of the Mafia series! Hangar 13 and 2K have officially announced the release date of Mafia: The Old Country – August 8th. This highly anticipated game will be available on PS5, PC, Xbox Series XS, and NVIDIA’s GeForce Now. To celebrate this announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been unveiled, showcasing intense shootouts, stealth attacks, thrilling car chases, and even horseback chases.

This installment of the Mafia series takes a unique approach by transporting players to the roots of the Mafia in Sicily, offering a fresh perspective with a new protagonist, Enzo Favara. Set in a time where familiar characters are yet to be born, Mafia: The Old Country promises a fresh and immersive experience for both new and returning players. In addition to the gameplay trailer, Hangar 13 has also released a developer insights video, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the game’s setting.
Players can now pre-order two editions of Mafia: The Old Country, each offering unique benefits:
