MacBook Neo, AirPods Max 2, iPhone 17e, and everything else Apple announced this month

Apple recently unveiled a range of new products, from a budget-friendly MacBook to the latest iPhone models.

The tech giant kicked off the launch on March 2 with the introduction of the new iPhone 17e and the M4 iPad Air. Following that, Apple announced the M5 MacBook Air, updated MacBook Pro models, new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, as well as the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR. On March 4, Apple surprised consumers with the announcement of a more affordable MacBook called the MacBook Neo, running on a chip similar to those in the iPad and iPhone.

A week and a half later, Apple dropped another bombshell: the AirPods Max 2, the highly anticipated successor to its premium headphones launched in 2020.

iPhone 17e

Apple has introduced the latest iteration of its budget-friendly iPhone series with the iPhone 17e, priced at $599 and set for release on March 11.

Equipped with the A19 chip found in the base iPhone 17, the base model comes with 256GB of storage, double the entry-level storage of the iPhone 16e.

Notable upgrades include the addition of MagSafe and Qi2 for wireless charging up to 15W, and a 48-megapixel camera similar to that of the iPhone 16e.

The iPhone 17e also boasts C1X, Apple’s latest cellular modem that is up to 2x faster than the C1 in the iPhone 16e, while consuming 30% less energy than the modem in the iPhone 16 Pro, resulting in improved battery life.

Available in black, white, and a new soft pink color, the iPhone 17e offers a compelling package for users.

iPad Air M4

Apple has announced the new iPad Air, powered by the M4 chip, delivering 30% faster performance than the M3 iPad Air and 2.3x faster than the M1 version. Despite the performance boost, the pricing remains the same, with the 11-inch model priced at $599 and the 13-inch model at $799, with a $50 discount for educational customers.

Designed for speed with an updated neural engine and increased memory, the iPad Air is ideal for AI applications. It features an 8-core CPU, a 9-core GPU, and 12GB of unified memory, facilitating faster AI processing compared to previous models.

Available in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray, the iPad Air offers storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB.

MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max

With the launch of the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, Apple also introduced updated MacBook Pro models featuring these cutting-edge chipsets. These chips are designed to enhance the laptops’ performance in handling intensive AI tasks, with the new Pro laptops capable of processing AI tasks up to 4x faster than their M4 predecessors.

The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips offer significant improvements in LLM prompt processing and AI image generation compared to the previous generation, providing users with a more efficient and powerful computing experience.

The MacBook Pro models boast faster read/write performance, starting at 1TB of storage for the MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and 2TB for the MacBook Pro with M5 Max. Additionally, these laptops offer up to 24 hours of battery life, rapid charging capabilities, Thunderbolt 5 support, and a premium six-speaker sound system.

Priced at $2,199 for the 14-inch model and $2,699 for the 16-inch model with M5 Pro chips, and $3,599 for the M5 Max 14-inch model and $3,899 for the 16-inch model, these laptops are available in black or silver.
