Lost Soul Aside has made a long-awaited return with a new trailer confirming a 2025 release for PS5 and PC. Originally planned for a 2018 release on PS4, the game’s last update was in 2021 when a PS5 version was announced.
The game draws inspiration from the Final Fantasy series and other RPGs and action games. The story follows a hero on a mission to save his sister and humanity from invasion by otherworldly forces. With fast-paced combat using weapons and abilities, players will face off against interdimensional invaders and powerful bosses in this single-player action-adventure RPG.
Lost Soul Aside is the brainchild of solo developer Bing Yang, who has been tirelessly working on the project, explaining the lengthy development time.
