LG Electronics Working on Next-Generation OLED TV and Wallpaper TV
LG Electronics, the Korean television and display manufacturer, is currently developing its next-generation OLED TV as part of the G-series, alongside a new wallpaper TV. According to a report by Videocardz, the upcoming OLED TV, known as the LG G6 Evo AI, will feature a new RGB Tandem WOLED panel with a “Hyper Radiant OLED” display technology. This technology includes a “Brightness Booster Ultra” feature that can provide up to 3.9 times the brightness of a regular OLED TV.
Enhanced Brightness and Viewing Experience
The LG G6 Evo AI is expected to offer significantly increased peak brightness compared to previous models, reaching between 3,120 and 3,315 nits. Additionally, the TV will feature an improved anti-reflection layer to enhance viewing angles and reduce glare from ambient lighting sources, providing an uninterrupted viewing experience.
The LG G6 OLED TV will be available in various screen sizes, ranging from 48 to 97 inches, catering to a wide range of preferences and settings. Whether you need a compact 48-inch TV for your bedroom or a larger 97-inch screen for a home theater setup, the G6 lineup aims to offer something for everyone.
Powered by the next-generation Alpha 11 AI processor, the LG G6 Evo AI TV is expected to deliver faster upscaling, more accurate tone mapping, and improved real-time image optimization. The processor’s enhanced neural processing capability is said to be 5.6 times greater than its predecessor.

In addition to the LG G6 Evo AI TV, LG is also rumored to be working on another model, the “W6,” which is expected to be a wallpaper television. Available in 77 and 83-inch sizes, these ultra-thin TVs, measuring around 99mm in thickness, are set to be among the slimmest models in their category and will come with the Zero Connect box.
While specific details are yet to be officially confirmed by LG, more information about these upcoming televisions may be revealed at CES 2026.
