Tucked away in LG’s extensive booth showcasing their vision for the future of home living, you’ll discover the PuriCare Air Purifier. While there are standard air purifiers that simply filter the air, the version I encountered combines this function with a cat bed.
Yes, you read that correctly. In a surprising 2-in-1 device, LG has merged an air purifier with a comfortable cat bed. Essentially, it’s LG’s regular PuriCare air purifier with a cozy cat bed on top.
But this device has a few additional features up its sleeve. The dome-shaped bed includes a built-in heater, providing a warm spot for your feline companion throughout the year. It also serves as a weighing scale, allowing you to monitor your cat’s weight effortlessly.
To address the potential issue of noise from the air purifier disturbing cats, LG incorporated a ‘pet rest mode’ that reduces the sound to a more suitable level.
As shown in the images, the cat bed is directly placed on top of the air purifier. For older or less agile cats, there’s an attachable stepper to help them access the bed.

Had I only read about this product online, I might have dismissed it immediately. However, after seeing it in person and understanding its features, I have developed a newfound appreciation for it. Nonetheless, as someone who has never owned a cat, I won’t be purchasing one.
