Warner Bros. Games has exciting news for LEGO Batman fans – the release date for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been moved up to May 22nd, 2026! Originally set for May 29th, players can now dive into Gotham City even sooner. To celebrate this announcement, a new trailer has been released, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
Available for pre-order now, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight offers both a standard edition and a deluxe edition. The standard edition includes the base game, with pre-orders receiving The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit as a bonus. For those looking for even more content, the deluxe edition features the base game, the Legacy Collection (including the Arkham Trilogy pack, Batman Beyond pack, and Party Music pack), as well as early access to the Mayhem Collection DLC launching in September. This DLC introduces a new story mission where players can take on the roles of Joker and Harley Quinn, along with a Mayhem mode and the Sinister pack. Pre-ordering also grants players three days of early access and The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight promises to delve into various eras of Batman, from his origins to modern interpretations. Players can train with the League of Shadows, combat crime in Gotham, face off against iconic villains like Joker, Penguin, and Bane, all while drawing inspiration from TV shows, comics, movies, and games.
