Lafiel, whose full name is Abriel Nei Debrusc Borl Paryun Lafiel, holds the title of princess in the Humankind Empire of Abh, belonging to the royal lineage.
The Abh, a civilization of space-traveling “artificial humans,” are genetically engineered for interstellar journeys. They possess a unique adaptation to varying gravitational forces and a specialized sensory organ on their foreheads that interprets data transmitted through a headpiece.
