Exploring a Unique Territory Control Game Concept

Have you heard of the free and simple territory control game created by hobbyist dev snow-kiss? In this game, players switch their tiles between rock, paper, or scissors to claim those of their opponents. While some may question the longevity of this idea, it becomes more intriguing with multiple participants and a more complex board setup.

Imagine if this concept was expanded into a top-down open world exploration game. Players would maneuver a blob of tiles, absorbing or being absorbed by surrounding tiles. Maintaining the coherence of the blob would be crucial, as the roshambo mechanics could lead to stray colonies breaking away. Perhaps the view could focus on the largest cluster of tiles.

These are just a few thoughts to ponder. If you happen to be in England, Northern Ireland, or Wales (apologies to our Scottish readers for the oversight), what are your plans for today? To set the mood, here is some mid-campaign music for you to enjoy.
