It may have taken Nintendo 37 years, but Zelda finally gets her own game in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

If you’ve been eagerly anticipating a solo Zelda game, your wish has finally been granted as Nintendo has just unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

Zelda enthusiasts have long been yearning for Zelda to have her own game, and Nintendo has answered their prayers. In a style reminiscent of the Link’s Awakening remake, Echoes of Wisdom flips the script by having Zelda as the heroine in need of rescuing. Mysterious spatial rifts have started appearing throughout Hyrule, pulling people and land into them, leaving Zelda to save the day. Along the way, she encounters a fairy named Tri, who entrusts her with a special rod that allows her to create duplicates of various objects and even enemies across the world.

It appears that Zelda’s gameplay will focus more on puzzles rather than the action-oriented approach of Link. She can utilize her cloned objects to combat enemies in unique ways and navigate Hyrule by creating platforms like tables to scale cliffs and reach inaccessible areas.

Additionally, a new Hyrule Edition of the Switch Lite is set to be released, resembling the classic gold Zelda 3DS. And for those eager to dive into Echoes of Wisdom, the game is scheduled for release on September 26th this year!
