With just a few weeks left until the highly anticipated reveal of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025, the focus seems to be shifting towards exciting AI features. According to a recent report from Android Authority, an APK teardown has uncovered the possibility of the S25 coming bundled with a free trial of Gemini Advanced.

These trial subscriptions for Gemini Advanced would be activated upon purchasing a Galaxy S25 device, which is expected to include the S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra models. The duration of the trial would vary depending on the device, similar to Google’s approach with the Pixel 9 series.

The latest update of the Google app (v.15.52.37 beta) has hinted at the possible duration of Gemini Advanced trial subscriptions. Code analysis suggests trial lengths of three, six, nine, and 12 months. It is speculated that the base S25 may receive a three-month trial, S25 Plus a six-month trial, and S25 Ultra a full year of free access. The purpose of the nine-month trial remains unknown, possibly reserved for the rumored S25 Slim variant expected later in 2025.

So, what sets Gemini Advanced apart from the standard features on Samsung Galaxy phones? Gemini Advanced offers Google’s most advanced AI models on mobile devices, excelling in complex tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, multi-modal instructions, and creative collaboration. It also boasts faster image generation capabilities and integration with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and more. A typical subscription for Gemini Advanced costs $20 per month.

While this trial offer has only been discovered in the code of the latest Google app update and has not been officially confirmed by Google or Samsung, the countdown to the Galaxy S25 launch continues. Stay tuned for more updates!
