Unlocking Vehicles in Mario Kart World
As you play Mario Kart World, you’ll start with a selection of 10 vehicles, but you’ll unlock more as you collect coins. For every 100 coins you gather, a new vehicle will become available.
With a total of 29 vehicles to unlock through coin collection, you’ll need to gather 3000 coins in total. However, with regular racing and exploration, you’ll quickly accumulate these coins, especially in local co-op mode.
In my experience, I unlocked a new vehicle after completing each Grand Prix or Knockout Tour, even when playing solo. This means you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on that sleek, fast kart you’ve been eyeing.
