HoYoverse Unveils Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 Update “Unraveled for Daybreak”
HoYoverse has announced the upcoming launch of the Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 update titled “Unraveled for Daybreak”, set to release on March 25, 2026. This update will introduce the next chapter in the Planarcadia Story.
One of the exciting features of Version 4.1 is the addition of Ashveil as a playable companion character for the first time. Ashveil, a limited 5-star character, will join the roster alongside other limited 5-star characters Hyacine and Boothill, who will appear in Warp events during this version.
Ashveil, known as a “detective unreliable”, will embark on a mission to unravel a conspiracy behind the Phantasmoon Games while working with the Astral Express Crew. With a unique combat style, Ashveil can stun enemies, boost ally crit damage, and strategically manipulate enemy defenses.
In the ongoing Planarcadia Story, players have witnessed the Trailblazer’s triumph in the Phantasmoon Games and the upcoming Star Rail FEST expo hosted by Planarcadia’s CEO, Pearl. The power struggles and faction conflicts continue to shape the narrative of the arcadia.
Version 4.1 will offer a shorter story beat compared to previous updates, running for four weeks instead of six. This change in duration hints at potentially significant updates in Version 4.2.
