Constance Set to Release on Consoles
Co-publishers ByteRockers’ Games and PARCO GAMES, along with developer bildundtonfabrik, have announced the release date for their hand-crafted sidescrolling platforming action game, Constance, on consoles.
The game is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Switch/Switch 2, and PS5 on May 1st, following its initial release on Windows PC via Steam in November 2025.
Game Overview
A newly released trailer showcases Constance‘s unique paint-based platforming and combat gameplay, along with its deeper themes revolving around the protagonist’s mental health struggles. Players will dive into a colorful yet decaying inner-world, transforming into paint to navigate through various challenges.
As players progress, they must maintain a balance between utilizing brush techniques to enhance their abilities and avoiding corruption. Unlock new skills, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles to uncover Constance’s past and help her find inner peace.
Explore over six distinct biomes within Constance’s inner-world, each with its own set of enemies representing different aspects of her psyche. Uncover secrets, engage in boss battles, and embark on side quests to unravel the mysteries of her personal history.
