Halo: Campaign Evolved Confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

Exciting news for Halo fans as Halo: Campaign Evolved has been officially confirmed for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This remake of Halo: Combat Evolved’s campaign promises to deliver an enhanced experience with more content and gameplay tweaks.

The new version of Halo will feature two player local co-op and expanded four player online co-op, with new missions, enemies, weapons like the iconic Battle Rifle from Halo 2, and additional vehicles. Chief will also have new moves such as hijacking vehicles and sprinting.

One of the highlights of Halo: Campaign Evolved is the inclusion of three new missions that serve as prequels to the rest of Halo’s campaign, focusing on Master Chief and Sgt Johnson. The game has been developed using Unreal Engine 5, providing a visually stunning remake while retaining the original game’s essence.

Players can get a glimpse of the gameplay with a 13-minute preview showcasing the iconic Silent Cartographer level. The video reveals changes in level design to accommodate the new features, offering a fresh take on the classic gameplay.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is set to release in 2026 and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. It will also be included in Xbox Game Pass on launch day, allowing subscribers to enjoy the game as soon as it’s released.
