Grasshopper Manufacture recently held a mini showcase to announce the release date of their action game Romeo Is A Dead Man on February 11th. Along with this announcement, a new trailer for the game was unveiled, showcasing the signature strangeness expected from Suda51 and the team at Grasshopper Manufacture.
The storyline of Romeo Is A Dead Man is just as eccentric. In a shattered space-time, Romeo is saved from death by the Dead Gear Life Support System, transforming him into a cyborg. Recruited by the FBI’s Space-Time Police, Romeo embarks on a mission to hunt down criminals amidst the chaos, all while searching for his girlfriend Juliet. A clever nod to the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet.
Suda51’s previous game, No More Heroes 3, was praised for its self-awareness, quirky characters, and polished combat. Fans can expect a similar level of creativity and entertainment in Romeo Is A Dead Man.
Romeo Is A Dead Man is set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.
