Exciting news from Grasshopper Manufacture as they tease their upcoming game, following the global launch of ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN.
The legendary developer led by Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda is preparing to unveil a new game later this year, post the release of ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN this month.
In a recent Grasshopper Direct video, Suda shared, “We actually have a surprise announcement for you all in this Grasshopper Direct… It’s ALMOST 100% certain that we’ll be releasing one more game during 2026. What kind of game? When can we announce it? We’re not sure just yet…”
He went on to say, “But if you wait a little longer, I feel like we’ll be able to make an announcement soon. Keep checking out various events, media, and videos like this, and sooner or later we’ll have that big announcement ready for you all. Please keep an eye out and look forward to it.”
Suda also hinted at a physical release for ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, mentioning discussions with multiple companies to bring out a physical version.
“We’re doing whatever we can to make it happen, so please wait just a bit more for this too,” Suda added. “We’ll announce it as soon as it’s finalized, so we appreciate all your patience.”
ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN is scheduled to launch on PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on February 11th, 2026. Stay tuned for our review!
