The Google Pixel 8 Pro, once a high-priced flagship, is now shockingly affordable thanks to massive Prime Day discounts, making it one of the best-value smartphones available.
Known for its outstanding features, the Pixel 8 Pro was second in our best phones guide until very recently, though it’s been replaced by the even more expensive Pixel 9 Pro XL.
This slightly older model wasn’t cheap to begin with, starting at £999/$999 at launch. But now, Amazon’s Prime Day sale makes it more accessible than ever, dropping the price to a mid-range level.
In the UK, you can snag the Pixel 8 Pro for just £615.99 — a jaw-dropping reduction of nearly £400 from its original price. This is the lowest price ever seen for this model on Amazon, making it a steal for anyone looking for a premium device without the premium price.
In the US, Prime members can also benefit from a significant discount, with the Pixel 8 Pro priced at just $719 in the Obsidian colour.
In the UK, the best deal is on the Pixel 8 Pro in the Porcelain colourway (pictured below), featuring 128GB of storage. If you prefer the Obsidian colour, it’s also discounted but comes in at £749.
For those needing more storage, the 256GB models also have significant discounts, with savings of up to £386.

The only catch? You need to be a Prime member to access these deals. If you’re not already a member, Amazon offers a free 30-day trial, which is perfect timing to take advantage of this sale. Then it costs £8.99/$14.99 per month, or £95/$139 per year unless you cancel before the trial is up.
With Prime Day running until the end of 9 October, you can still grab this incredible deal — but act fast, as it’s only available while stocks last.
