Games has recently shared an insightful eight-minute video shedding light on the creation process behind Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, along with the various inspirations that fueled its development. The video offers a glimpse into the different eras that players will traverse, from a young Bruce Wayne’s journey before donning the cape and cowl to his training with the enigmatic League of Shadows.

The development team has meticulously incorporated elements from every era of Batman’s rich history, drawing from the iconic movies, TV shows, and comic archives. By weaving together pivotal moments from Batman’s past, they have meticulously crafted the narrative and brought the vibrant city of Gotham to life, complete with familiar landmarks and bustling crime-ridden areas awaiting players’ intervention. While Batman remains central to the gameplay, the Bat Family and the infamous rogues’ gallery also play integral roles in the unfolding saga.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is slated for release in 2026 across multiple platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
