Samsung Galaxy S22 Charging Speeds Revealed
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is set to make its debut on February 9, 2022, during the virtual Galaxy Unpacked Event. Leaks and rumors have provided a glimpse into what we can expect from the flagship devices. Recent findings from DEMKO certification shed light on the charging speeds of the devices, with some surprising results.
The standard Galaxy S22 is reported to have a 25W charging speed according to Denmark’s certification organization. This may seem slow compared to other flagship devices in the market. If true, the Galaxy S22 could take around 70 minutes or longer to charge its 3,700mAh battery.
In contrast, the Galaxy S22 Plus and S22 Ultra are rumored to support 45W fast charging, which is more in line with current industry standards. Other manufacturers like OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and OnePlus have been offering fast charging speeds of up to 120W on their flagship devices.
Additionally, it is speculated that the Galaxy S22 series may not come with a charger in the box, requiring users to purchase one separately. Images from Dutch website Nieuwe Mobiel showcase the charging speeds of the flagship devices, providing a glimpse of what to expect at the Unpacked Event.
