Frostpunk 2 Update: Console Port Planned for Summer Release

In a recent roadmap update for Frostpunk 2, 11 bit studios announced that the console port of their post-apocalyptic city builder is scheduled for release this summer.

The roadmap now includes three major milestones with specific timeframes. On May 8th, players can expect a free major content update focusing on adjustments to the City’s management. Following this, the console port is set to arrive during the summer, with the Spectrum DLC targeted for release in autumn.

Looking further ahead, two additional DLC packs are in the works. The Aurora DLC is still planned for this year, while a third untitled DLC is slated for 2026.

Here’s a breakdown of the upcoming updates from 11 bit:

  • May 8th – Free Major Content Update: A day to be remembered as adjustments are made to the City’s management, inspired by the first New Londoners.
  • Summer – Console Port: A grand undertaking bringing Frostpunk 2 to console players.
  • Autumn – Spectrum DLC: Delve deeper into the city’s inhabitants and uncover more about yourself in this upcoming expansion.

Additionally, fans can anticipate a seventh-anniversary celebration for the original Frostpunk game on April 24th, as hinted by the developers.
