A New Era for Football Manager: Women’s Football Introduced

Sports Interactive has just released a thrilling new video for Football Manager 26, showcasing the long-awaited integration of women’s football into the series. With a focus on authenticity and inclusivity, the game will feature 14 women’s football leagues across 11 countries, including the prestigious WSL and WSL2.

Players will have the freedom to choose between men’s and women’s leagues, or even have both active simultaneously in their games. The women’s football database will boast over 40,000 players, making it the largest collection of women’s football talent in any game to date.

What sets Football Manager 26 apart is the attention to detail in the women’s game. Player stats are on par with their male counterparts, but tailored to the nuances of women’s football. In a groundbreaking move, Sports Interactive used motion capture technology featuring women footballers to ensure that the on-pitch action mirrors the real-life dynamics of women’s football.

This is just the beginning of women’s football in Football Manager, with plans for further expansion and enhancement of the gaming experience in the future.

Exciting news for fans – Football Manager 26 is set to launch on November 4th for PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Game Pass, and mobile via Netflix. Additionally, Football Manager 26 Touch will be available on Switch starting December 4th.
