Football Manager 25’s release date has been pushed back to late November, according to Sports Interactive’s Miles Jacobson. In a recent development update, Miles announced that the official announcement for the game will now be in late September, and international management will not be included in this release.

This decision to remove international management comes after previous announcements that touchline shouts, create a club, challenge mode, versus mode, and fantasy draft will not be available in Football Manager 25 at launch. However, fantasy draft will be added in a later content update. Miles expressed in a blog post:

“The development of FM25 has been a challenging process for the entire team. Transitioning the game to the Unity engine has proven to be more complex than we initially expected. Despite the challenges, our team has been working tirelessly to deliver a quality game. We appreciate your patience as we work towards sharing our hard work with you.”

“Due to the difficulties faced during development, we have made the tough decision to omit international management from FM25, FM25 Console, and FM25 Touch. While international management will not be available in these versions, it will still be playable in FM25 Mobile, which follows a different development track.”

Miles also mentioned that international management will make a comeback in Football Manager 26. Additionally, player profiles will no longer display weights, as the weights of female players tend to fluctuate more frequently than those of male players. This update is likely the final one before the release of Football Manager 25.
