Fallout London was launched at the end of last month, but due to numerous bugs, Nic had to give up on playing it. The developers have assured players that they are working on hotfixes and have announced a “huge” upcoming update.
“We have exciting plans for the future, starting with a hotfix,” stated a message shared on the Team FOLON Discord server. “This hotfix will address crashes and include essential systems like ‘Buffout 4,’ which will be integrated into the mod. We have also identified other fixes that will provide immediate relief. Additionally, we will be reviewing certain features that may not have been as effective as we initially thought, so stay tuned for more details.”
“The future looks promising! We are already hard at work on a MASSIVE patch that will tackle all the reported issues in our Discord channel, as well as numerous quest-related and other issues.”
“Our plan is to release the hotfix first to address and mitigate the crashes, followed by a substantial patch.”
The developers have also announced that they will be hosting a developer playthrough stream on their Twitch channel on Thursday, August 8th, at 8pm BST (2pm CST), where they will provide “behind-the-scenes insights” into the mod’s development. They are also offering “1-on-1 troubleshooting” for players experiencing bugs via Discord.
Nic enjoyed the brief time he spent playing Fallout London but was frustrated by frequent crashes that sent him back to the desktop. Hopefully, the upcoming patches will resolve these issues and allow him to continue his search for Big Dave.
